Maritime Bergen og Norsk senter for kinesisk rett ved Det juridiske fakultet, Universitetet i Bergen arrangerer sommerskolen Maritime Bergen Law Summer Programme (MBLSP) som ble holdt for første gang i august 2018. Maritime Bergen og Det juridiske fakultet ved Universitetet i Bergen tilbyr et to uker langt sommerprogram i Bergen som gir fem studiepoeng. En konferanse hvor seilende kvinner, kvinnelige operatører og studenter får en dag med faglig påfyll, deling av erfaringer samt muligheten til å utvide nettverket. Temaet for konferansen er: "Hvordan kan vi bidra til å øke mangfoldet i maritim næring?" For niende gang gjennomføres Kvinner i Kuling for Bergens kvinnelige studenter. Gjennom Kvinner i Kuling (KiK) skal maritim næring synliggjøres som en attraktiv og spennende karrierevei for kvinnelige studenter fra de ulike utdanningsinstitusjonene i Bergen.
